The Limited Warranty starts from the date of purchase.
During the warranty period, if any accessory defect is inspected and confirmed by a Xiaomi authorized service center, a free replacement service shall be provided.

This limited warranty is only valid in India, and the product is not eligible for any international warranty service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, warranty service may only be performed by Xiaomi or Xiaomi authorized service centers.
Xiaomi may conduct diagnostic tests on customers‘ products to identify the causes of failures/defects. Before returning any unit for service, customer should back up data and remove any confidential and/or personal information from the product. Xiaomi is not responsible for damage or loss of any program, data, or removable storage media.

Prior to contacting a Xiaomi service agent, please ensure the following information is at hand:

Model, serial number, and IMEI number if available.
Customer’s full address and contact information.
Purchase order number, a copy of the customer’s original invoice/receipt.
This warranty does not cover the following cases:

If the product serial number, IMEI number or warranty seal is illegible or has been removed, erased, defaced, altered, and/or tampered. If any accessory or external part of the product is missing.

Warranty does not cover natural wear & tear, usage under extreme conditions, damage due to improper care (accident, misuse or negligence) and damage caused by acts of god such as floods, fires or earthquakes.

If any damage occurs in/on outer surface of the product, including but not limited to cracks, dents or scratches on the exterior cases, screens, camera lenses, buttons and other attachments.

For Mi Band strap, if it becomes dirty or damaged due to contact with chemical agents, sharp objects, improper handling, accident, abuse, or under abnormal use or conditions such as sauna, swimming, and so forth.

General maintenance, password reset assistance, cleaning, application update/installation, product demonstration, or any other service other than repair/replacement;
Deterioration of the product caused by normal wearing and tearing, including but not limited to rust or stains;

Any other circumstances that are contradictory or are not in compliance with business ethics.
Manufacturing warranty applies on:

Violations against warranty, including but not limited to customer induced damage, such as self-repairs, exposure to water, damage caused by misuse, alternation, failure to comply with product manual, and so on.

Mi LED Smart TV Warranty Terms & Condition:

Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship of the product. This warranty applies when the product is used under normal conditions and for the purpose in which the product was designed.

Warranty covers all manufacturing defects on zippers, runners, buckles & stitching issues caused by workmanship errors.

Xiaomi will determine whether a product is “Out of Warranty” at the company’s discretion according to the standards listed below. Repair of “Out of Warranty” products shall be separately quoted by the Xiaomi service center and respective service shall be provided upon service fee payment.

Warranty is limited to the first purchaser of this product and it is not transferrable. Purchase invoice with corresponding model and serial number of the unit must be presented to claim warranty.

Repair or replacement will be carried out through the Authorized Service Center. Free Installation or demo of the product, can be availed only once & within 15 days from the date of delivery. Installation has been defined under free condition, while shall share free for Table Top & Chargeable for Wall Mount.

The warranty does not cover accessories external to the system. The company’s obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repair or providing replacement of parts only.
In the event of repairs/replacement of any parts of the unit, this warranty will thereafter continue and remain in force only for the unexpired period of the warranty from date of purchase. Moreover, the time taken for repair/replacement whether under the warranty or otherwise shall not be excluded from the warranty period.

In case of any damage during transit by Customer, the product shall be repaired by the concerned service center on chargeable basis and warranty for unexpired period to continue from date of purchase.

Xiaomi Technology India Pvt. Ltd. (“Company”) or its Authorized Service Centre reserves the right to retain any parts or components replaced at its discretion, in the event of a defect being noticed in the equipment during warranty period.

Replacement of parts would be purely at the discretion of the Company, alone. In case the replacement of the entire unit is being made, (subject to the sole discretion of the Company, the same model shall be replaced and in the event, such model has been discontinued, it shall be replaced with the model equivalent as deemed by the Company.
The TV/product box must be opened and installed by a Xiaomi authorized personnel/technician else the warranty or any other claim will be void.

In the event of any unforeseen circumstance, and spares not being available, the Company’s prevailing depreciation rules will be binding on the Customer to accept as a commercial solution in lieu of repairs.

This warranty will automatically terminate on the expiry of the warranty period as specified herein.
No Dealer/Distributor/Retailer has authority to vary the terms of above warranty.
Only courts in Bangalore shall have the jurisdiction for settling any claims, disputes arising under the warranty.

Warranty is applicable only for products purchased in India. Applicable service charges may be different for products purchased outside India ( Other than India )

Mi LED Smart TV – C I D Terms & Conditions:

Warranty does not cover damages caused due to improper installation, repair, unauthorized modification, physical damage and water log damages or connection of the product to equipment not approved by the Company.

This Warranty will be void on removal, tampering or alteration of any identification labels on the product or any of its components including serial number.
If the product is not used as per its usage specifications warranty will be void.

Company will not be liable for consequential or resulting liability, damage or loss to property or life arising directly or indirectly out of any defect in the product. The maximum claim if entertained by the Company will be subject to the maximum retail price of the product purchased or the purchase price, whichever is lower.

Defects due to cause beyond control like lightning, abnormal voltage, natural disaster and acts of God or while in transit to service Center or purchaser’s residence will not be covered by the Warranty. What is covered under manufacturing warranty?

10 day replacement policy in case of manufacturing defect.
In case of manufacturing related issues post 10 days of purchase till warranty period(1 year)
a. Customer needs to walk in to nearest service center
b. Get the issue validated by service center team
c. Get a certificate from service center team
d. Customer Support team arranges for a new replacement basis the certificate, and dispatched centrally,
e. After Sales team to collect back all faulty through reverse logistics to SPL warehouse

In case of issues due to mishandling/damage by customer(within/out of warranty) a. Customer needs to walk in to nearest service center b. Get the issue validated by service center team c. Get a certificate from service center team on reason for damage/defect d. Service center repairs and charges customer basis actual cost, B–Type repair through basis cost differential.

The Warranty, however, is subject to the following conditions:

This Warranty card is valid only if it is filled in, stamped and signed by the authorized dealer/showroom/person of Xiaomi (except for institutional purchases). The card and the relevant cash memo must be preserved and produced along with the defective piece. Incase of online purchase, customer needs to furnish the invoice to avail the warranty.

This Warranty is not valid for:

a. Damages resulting from accidents, mishandling, negligence, unauthorized repair, tampering, loss of components/accessories, normal wear and tear, exposure to extreme heat and temperature, solvents, acids and exposure to rain/water.
b. Damages such as zip bursts, cracks, dents and scratches to any of the components, tearing of inner lining or any other fabric.
c. Replacement/repair of briefcase folios and suitcase divider flaps.
d. Powder coating, gold plating, wood finish on locks, frames, channels and on all other metallic surfaces.
e. Damages from mishandling and abuse in transit by the carrier company (Airlines etc.) (if such abuse occurs, one must immediately file a claim with the Carrier Company before leaving the transport terminal) and
f. Damages to the leather trimmings.

The Company will undertake to repair/replace the defective piece at its own discretion and its decision as to the nature of the defects and applicability of this Warranty, is final.
In the interest of product upgradation, the Company is free to change its products specification without notice. In case spares for given models are not available, the Company may at its discretion, offer an equivalent model at a special rate.
Any disputes arising out of the applicability / usage of this Warranty card is subject to Bengaluru jurisdiction only.

The Company’s liability for damages shall be restricted only upto repair/replacement of the defective piece and in no event and under no circumstances it shall exceed the price paid (after discounts, if any) by the customer to the Company for the damaged piece stated in the invoice/cash memo.

This Warranty excludes every condition/warranty liability not expressly set out herein.
All locks and security mechanism fitted on the luggage are delaying devices and can’t prevent theft of the contents and luggage.

Besides the aforesaid terms and conditions, for availing the Warranty, the procedure as mentioned below also needs to be followed by the user to exercise this warranty on the product: To avail of this warranty the user needs to contact the nearest service centre.

a. The user will have to provide necessary documents including the duly filled up, signed and stamped copies of the valid warranty card, invoice (and the photo of the defective piece if physical product is not available for inspection) physically at the service centre or by email or fax at the address/ fax number that the call centre may provide.
b. The piece must be delivered to and collected back from the nearest service centre in the country of travel at the user’s cost. The address will be provided by the Company through the call centre.
c. The Company reserves the right to repair; or replace the defective piece as deemed suitable. In case of replacement, the defective piece shall be replaced with another piece of the same model or equivalent model of any of the Company’s brand at the Company’s discretion.
d. The Company or its representative(s) will undertake to repair or replace the defective parts/ piece within a reasonable period of time and its decision as to the nature of defect and the applicability of the warranty is final.

Mi Smart Water Purifier Warranty Terms & Conditions:

Warranty is limited to the first purchaser of this product and it is not transferrable. Purchase invoice with corresponding model and serial number of the unit must be presented to claim warranty.

This Warranty is void if the unit is not operated under potable water or is subjected to temperature above 40°C.

The liability for claims shall not exceed the cost of the product itself. Xiaomi India or its Authorized Service Centre shall not be held liable for any sickness or illness due to the consumption of drinking water from any water purifier supplied by Xiaomi India, since Xiaomi or its Authorized Service Centre does not have any control over the maintenance and usage of water purifier

Repair or replacement will be carried out by authorised service engineers or through the Authorized Service Centre. Free Installation or demo of the product, can be availed only once & within 15 days from the date of delivery.

The warranty does not cover accessories external to the Product e.g. cables, valve, external filter etc. All filters (PPC/RO/PAC) have a shelf life, which does not exceed 12 months. It is recommended that the Filter be changed after a maximum of 12 months to ensure proper functioning of water purifier.

Genuine filters will be available for purchase from Mi.com, Mi home and authorized online and Offline channels. The company’s obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repair or providing replacement of parts only. In the event of repairs/replacement of any parts of the unit, this warranty will thereafter continue and remain in force only for the unexpired period of the warranty from date of purchase. Moreover, the time taken for repair/replacement whether under the warranty or otherwise shall not be excluded from the warranty period.

In case of any damage during transit aributable to the Customer, the product shall be repaired by the concerned service centre on chargeable basis and the warranty for unexpired period shall continue from date of purchase.
