Scams often combine urgency, authority and unusually attractive returns. Slow down whenever someone says an opportunity is secret or available only for a few minutes.
Watch for common red flags
- Guaranteed or nearly risk-free returns
- Requests for payment to personal or unrelated accounts
- Pressure to install an unknown app or share screen access
- Selective screenshots of winning trades
- Claims of inside information or operator support
Verify independently
Use official regulator and exchange sources to verify registration and contact details. Scammers can copy genuine logos and registration numbers. Never rely only on a link sent by the claimant.
Protect the account
Do not share passwords, PINs or OTPs. Enable strong authentication and review depository alerts. Report suspicious transactions immediately through verified channels.
